(The only bright spot is seeing responsible pet owners come to the low-cost spay and neuter and vaccination clinics.) I realized the other day that each one of my cats has an unfortunate story: Velcro - tied into a pillowcase and left in a Salvation Army drop box Xena - taken from a cat hoarder Velvet - kicked out of the house by her owners and left to wander the streets It makes me want to save ALL THE KITTIES.
