Your check is in the mail for the inappropriate use of the framework; however, Team Building is For Suckers, Inc., is in negotiations to acquire badconsultant, LLC.

Now that I think about it, I'll hold off on sending the check and you can just bill my cost center after the acquisition is complete.

Bad Consultant -- #5 is currently part of the larger Team Building is for Suckers™ consulting services. We don't give that away for free, but we do have a book coming out in Fall 2008 to help you achieve your goals. It's written in a very Scoble/Godin/Ferris manner, except it doesn't suck.

We here at badconsultant would gladly submit a statement of work for item 5) on your list above - oh, that's right, we haven't let you know what item 5) is yet... Our knowledge base awaits your check-book.

Christ. I hate people who don't understand that every waking moment of the day doesn't need to be dedicated to the act of traditional work.

Scarlett - You hit the nail on the head.

A manager complained to me yesterday that her employee was texting on her cell phone at work. I said, "Does she get her work done? Yes? Then who gives a crap?" This isn't kindergarten people!! Stop micromanaging already.

When you publish that handbook, I need 47 copies!

There are people in my office who think I am some kind rule enforcing maniac when in truth I hate the rules. I would like for everyone to not be assholes, work hard so we can achieve our objectives and therefore be proud and get big bonuses. I could care less who takes 4 breaks a day or wears flip-flops if they get their shit done but the don't and then I have listen to the yelling in the management meeting.
