I always end the year by writing about my accomplishments, failure, regrets and resolutions. Today’s post is about regrets.
I regret not meeting Lil BUB, this year.
You want to know — who is this Lil BUB you’re always talking about, Laur?
Well, per her website, “BUB is a very special, one of a kind critter. More specifically, she is the most amazing cat on the planet. Discovered as the runt of a healthy feral litter in a tool shed in rural Indiana, she was taken in as a rescue when it was clear that she would require special care. Since then, BUB has overcome great challenges, is a published author, a talk show host, a movie star, and has helped raise well over $100,000 for animals in need.”
Yes, BUB is a girl.
I believe that you get one shot at life. If you are a born as a special needs kitty, your odds aren’t great. BUB reminds me that all life matters — animals, humans, able-bodied, disabled, etc.
I’ve had a few chances to meet BUB over the years. I’ve had tickets in my hand and decided to spend time with humans. Those decisions weren’t wrong, but I regretted not seeing her in 2014.
Maybe I should change my attitude and look forward to seeing her in 2015.
Yeah BUB!!
Just looking at Bub’s face makes me happy! 🙂
Has Lil BUB ever been to BlogPaws? Because if so, I think I met her randomly one time before I knew who she was. If not, it must have been some other cute special needs cat.
