KEY TAKEAWAYS
WHAT IS THE NAME OF YOUR NEXT BOOK, AND HOW CAN I GET UPDATES ON ITS RELEASE?
My next book is, Betting on You: How to Put Yourself First (Finally) And Take Control of Your Career. My weekly newsletter offers pragmatic insights on your job and will soon have book updates too. I hope you sign up and find it helpful!
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOUR NEXT BOOK?
In my next book, I offer insights and tactical advice on how to look for work realistically and practically. I also talk about how to navigate tricky office politics and how to be your own HR professional when your human resources department lets you down. My personal story is woven throughout the book. While sharing my life can be hard, I’ve come to see how my life informs my practice, as a keynote speaker, as a coach and as an HR consultant. Although I continue to still get in my way, I’ve learned a few things on my journey. So my tone is less like a cheesy motivational speaker and more like a big sister who tells it like it is.
